Casidhe came to live with with her family when she was almost 5-years old, and she was adopted from the League. As a puppy at the League, she was known as Lola and was originally adopted by a young lady who named her, “Sophie.” She wasn’t able to keep Sophie because of an employment commitment, so she brought the dog back to the League. Sophie became Casidhe when her new humans wanted a more unique name. “Casidhe” means clever and brave–a name that suits her. Even at 13-years old, she is playful and spunky and loves everyone, especially children. Casidhe has competed in the American Kennel Club’s dog agility program and still also competes in Teacup Dog Agility. She is also a therapy dog and visited a nursing home until a few months ago. Casidhe has been an ambassapet for the past seven years, and she really enjoys it!
