Join the Harmony Equine Center as we participate in the first ever Battle on the Rockies, a horse show exclusively for rescued horses! This event, held during the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo will feature horse and rider pairs competing in four divisions, Open, Non Pro, Youth and Adoptable. There is over $8,000 of prize money at stake, along with a saddle presented the winner of each division. Harmony will have five previously adopted horses, as well as two horses available for adoption.
Participating adoptable horses
Buddy, an 8-year-old pony, is full of personality. A smart and athletic gelding, Buddy is very bold and walks with a mission. He is quick on his feet and loves being around people. Buddy would make a great all-around family horse, while also having the potential to go to the arena and compete or make a good 4-H project. He stands tied, is great with his feet and will meet you at the gate when you go get him.
Fearless is a flashy, young 3-year old that would make a great project horse for someone. While she can be a bit uncertain of things at times, Fearless is also curious, and with a confident rider she has the potential to go many different directions. She is a quiet, smooth mover with a willing demeanor and desire to please. Fearless stands tied, is good with her feet and has come to enjoy being around people.
Battle on the Rockies will be held on Friday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, March 2 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the National Western Stock Show Complex. Attendance is free.
