ELF – This Holiday, Adopt Yourself an Elf
“Leo is spectacular! This purrfect guy will make you fall in love with his wild heart.” – Bud E.T. Elf (Movie Critic)
A lonely, feral cat named Leo stows away in Santa’s sleigh one night and is brought to the Dumb Friends League. The orphaned 1-year-old is brought in and cared for by Santa’s elves, and they raise the little guy as their own. When Leo gets older, he learns he is a cat and not an elf! After learning he is a cat, Leo sets off on a journey of self-discovery through the shelter. With the support of Santa’s helpers (and a little bit of Christmas magic), Leo will try to overcome every obstacle thrown at him from the seven layers of the candy cane forest to the sea of swirly, twirly gumdrops, just to find his family. Leo is the perfect balance of lovable and goofy. His curious and adventurous spirit will warm even the coldest of hearts. Leo will be a great addition to any home this holiday season. “It is so?great to see Buck come from a nervous, worried stallion with no handling to showing his fun-loving personality and wanting to rub on by everyone who walks by.” -Taryn H.
Buck is a friendly and loveable 5-year-old gelding. He has recently been started in the Harmony Equine Center training program, and he is showing signs that he is willing and ready to learn. Buck would do best with an experienced rider to continue his training. He is currently available as a companion horse, but we are working on starting him under saddle. He is up to date on farrier, dental, vaccinations, and deworming. Learn more about by visiting Visit ddfl.org/adoption/#A0805518.
